REAL LIFE MUD TRUCKS

For Christmas, Becky and Todd got Stephen tickets to San Antonio's Monster Jam. Such a cool gift. We opted to upgrade and grab some pit passes as well so they could go see the trucks up close, get autographs and play around with the activities they had to offer. Stephen, Todd and the boys were pumped.

Miles started feeling bad and popped a fever during the show, so they opted to bow out a little early to get him home.

They had an awesome time. So much so that Stephen picked up some tickets to go see Monster Jam in Austin. This time, me and the girls were able to join! (Sorry Becky) Austin's show was at the Moody Center which isn't as large. There weren't as many trucks and the overall track was smaller.

The Dalmatian got some AIR

The tricks were cool to see - Grave Digger did a full blown back flip! Missed that on camera but pretty awesome.

Carson is FOUR!!

We didn't take many pictures because the kids were running running running. But, Carson enjoyed his 4th birthday with all of his buddies at Little Land. Cake, friends and swings - all of Carson's favorites things :)

Pedernales Celebration Camping

We packed so many things into one small trip. Hiking the falls, celebrating Stephen turning 40 and Easter!

Hike to the falls. It wasn't as full of water so there weren't any real "falls" to see, but it was still very pretty

It's raining? No problem...

Todd took Stephen into town for his birthday and visited a few breweries

While they were out, we decked out the camper with a "40 is JAWsome theme". I'm sure you can figure out who picked the theme :P

The hikes here were so pretty! They transported us into what looked like Tinkerbell's forest.

On the last day, my parents came out to join for dinner and a good ol' fashion egg hunt

This trip was one thing after the other, but everyone had a great time. Definitely a park I'd want to go to again

Camp Covid - Buescher

Welp - nearly everyone in the family caught Covid. What to do when you can't see anyone else? Bring the fam together for a good ole' sickly camping trip. Erin, Halle, me and Becky were spared.... so we thought... Becky and I went down for the count once we got home. Womp Wommmp

We headed out to Buescher State Park. We hadn't camped here before so we were excited to check things out. The grounds were very nice. However, our Cozy Circle as they called it was just that. Cozy. The sites were super tight and didn't offer much room for the kids to play. While it might not be top of our list to go back, it was nice and the group had fun.

Erin and Halle's supreme hiding spot!

Mud trucks. Carson's highlight of the trip
