Carson has been working HARD this month! He's finally mastered the traditional crawl and is everywhere, and quick! He's using all his energy to pull up on just about anything possible. He's getting more and more confident as the days goes on and it's incredible to see his little brain working. So, marking the milestone as usual, here's Carson showing off his moves!
[ Backstory: In order to get Carson to pull up on this chair, I was putting little treats, toys, books...anything that might entice him to look up there. This comic is a perfect summary ha! ]

- Super curious about how things work. Loves to put toys on top of something and hit it off to watch it fall. Or, throwing toys on the floor to hear what they sounds like... then laugh laugh laugh
- Like said above, he's pulling up on his knees but no interest in standing yet
- Can go from crawling to sitting
- Wearing 12 months clothes, 18 months pjs
- Plays cooperatively with Miles (for better or for worse lol)
- Has discovered a super annoying whine....
- "Hiiiighh yaaa", "arrrrggg" and other grunting sounds big this month
- Still babbling like crazy but "dadada" is his favorite thus far
- He "talks" to you. ie: he grunts, you grunt, he grunts back and so forth. He thinks it's pretty funny
- HATES his face and hands being wiped. You go in for it and he'll claw you with his nails.
- He flirts at the dinner table by tilting his head to the side and smiling at you
- Still.a.crazy.kicker. He kicks so much it moves his changing table during a diaper change
- Everything is in his mouth
- 5 teeth! 3 teeth on top, 2 on bottom
- Still loves him some strings. Pant strings, shoe strings, jacket strings. All the strings
- Make a b-line for the open gate and then does the "hurry crawl" once he's past like he knows he's not supposed to be over there
- When he gets excited, he pants and crawls really fast (I remember Miles doing this. So cute)
- He's doing better with table food but he still seems slow to warm up based on texture
- Such a giggler :)
- We've tried a big boy "cup" with water and all he does is chew the top. Not super interested at this point
This little boy... he's just the sweetest. Quick to giggle, will tell you when he's hurt but calms quick, easily excitable and so engaging. We're having such a blast watching him grow.
Watch out world...Carson's coming.... or is that Miles? Wait... What?!
